The Greenwich Community Health Improvement Partnership
(GCHIP) was developed in 2003 following a local community
health needs assessment. The purpose of the GCHIP
is to facilitate health improvement by increasing
communication among and between local health care
providers. The GCHIP is a project of Greenwich Hospital’s
Community Advisory Board. Click here for a copy of
the Community Health Needs Assessment Report.
The GCHIP includes a coordinating body, known as
the Implementation Team, and three task forces which
are addressing areas of health needs. The GCHIP regularly
sponsors Health Summits where the task forces report
out on their progress, and concerns on local health
issues are addressed.
All task force meetings are open to the public. New
members and input are very helpful. Click here for
a list of upcoming task force meetings.
